This policy explains how I collect, use, and protect personal information when you visit silvermaplecounselling.ca (the "Website"). I am a Registered Social Worker providing online counselling in British Columbia, and I follow BC's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
 

This policy covers the Website only. Information about people who become clients is handled separately, under the informed consent and privacy documents you receive when we begin working together.

Information you give me: If you contact me through the Website, by email, or through a booking tool, I collect what you choose to share, such as your name, email address, phone number, and message.

The contact form and email are not a secure way to share personal or health information. Please limit your first message to your name, contact details, and a general request for a consultation. Detailed information is best shared once we have set up a secure method together.
